Talk about fancy! The shop is a new addition in GA and the decorations during the Winterfest is just toasty chic if there ever is a word. There were white christmas trees and other yuletide trinkets that adorned the place. The mural of its iconic mermaid is ethereal but suitably fits right in. The line was short when we came in before going arounds GA - perfect for the cold nights stroll.
We got the seasoned drinks of white chocolate mocha latte and chestnut pralines latte. Which were pretty inside out with their christmas cups. -

We're at Great America, having a great time, it's hot, dehydrated. Starbucks to the rescue!
We get in the long busy line, It's Great America- it's expected. We order the Dragon Drink & Pink Drink. A few minutes of waiting, we're informed, no more coconut milk but he can go get some in a few minutes. A few minutes later, he comes back with no coconut milk, apparently they were out throughout the park. Getting fed up with the waiting because of the extra wait, we ask for a refund. I understand that we did pay for our drinks with our Starbucks app, but having the supervisor/lead/manager asks "We can't refund you, so what do you want me to do?" I'm not sure, sir, maybe we can talk about it, instead of you staring blankly at us telling us there's nothing you can do because we paid for a drink that couldn't be prepared because of the lack of ingredient. We settled for the drinks to be made without the coconut milk, despite paying extra, more because we had to leave before these Starbucks kill our vibes any further.
After waiting in line to order, then for someone to get the coconut milk- only to be told they can't find any.. Then having the supervisor tell us there's nothing he can do for us. He puts our cups back in line to be made... In the back of the line. So it's another long wait.
We came to the park to have fun, coming to this Starbucks was a huge mistake. A super long wait for a drink that we didn't order. We had sent our other friends out so Starbucks doesn't waste their time either. -

A nice big Starbucks in the middle of the Park. Only for park guests.
Praise the Mocha and Fear the Line. The line for ordering at Starbucks is shorter than a popular roller coaster, but longer than any Starbucks line I've ever been in . Lotsa seating. Inside and outside. A great place to gird your loins for a roller coaster or rest your weary soul AFTER the rides.
The staff are awesome and work their espresso beans off at this Starbucks. Whatever they get paid should be doubled! -

Stopped in here for a pick me up before having fun in Great America. Hmm...the lines were long but it moved quite quickly. The drinks were also made quickly too. Yes, they have the regular items that you can get at any Starbucks. You don't have to just go off the menu on the wall. Some items they might even not have yet...so just ask. This place is quite convenient. It is in the beginning of where you walk into Great America park. So you can't miss it. There's some seating indoors too, so you won't freeze outside...if it's in the winter.
